Rigger

Our client is one of New Zealand’s leading Heavy Machinery Installation companies, based in Auckland seeking a skilled Rigger role. This is a permanent full-time time position, working a minimum of 40 hours per week. Responsibilities and Accountabilities Experience in installation and assemble equipment/heavy machines particularly in heavy overweight operations. Rigging and operational experience with heavy jacking and hydraulic equipment, especially Hydraulic Gantry Lifting Systems, is critical in this role. Direct crane or hoist operators during lifting, positioning, and alignment of metal components. Inspect and maintain rigging equipment, lifting devices, and safety harness systems. Check completed installations for alignment, stability, and compliance with site safety standards Class 5 truck and trailer duties as and when required The position requires the following At least 3 years of Rigging experience and relevant certification as a Rigger Class 5 licence or equivalent Physically fit and healthy Hard working and reliable A team player and must not have previous criminal conviction. Ability to travel and work out of town for lengthy periods as required. Overseas applications will be considered for this role.
