Mechanical Assembly Technician

Our Guardian Safety Bandsaws have been in service worldwide since 2018 and is the first bandsaw globally with a zero-accident track record. Unlike a regular bandsaw, Guardian Safety Bandsaws are sophisticated machines which utilise computer vision to rapidly release stored energy – stopping saw blades in tens of milliseconds and preventing injury to the user. What's the Role? Assembling sub-assembly components including; bearing assemblies, braking system and trigger mechanism Deburring machined parts ready for use. Installing mechanical components into bandsaws What do you need? Experience working with mechanical components - mechanical trade qualifications are preferred Great attitude and drive to do the best you can. Experience with machine tools is an advantage but not essential Able to self manage and work to deadlines NZ residency or citizenship We will provide you with: Great team leader and supportive team environment Who are you?
