We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Venue Manager to join our team at Eclipse Restaurant. Working alongside the Venue Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, leading the team, delivering outstanding guest experiences, and ensuring service runs smoothly. This is a hands-on leadership role, perfect for someone who enjoys working on the floor while developing their management career. Assistant Venue Manager - Eclipse Restaurant | Luna Estate About the Role As Assistant Venue Manager, you'll support all aspects of venue operations, including: Leading and motivating the front-of-house team during service. Delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences. Assisting with daily venue operations, opening and closing procedures, and cash handling. Supporting staff recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing development. Maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness and food safety. Ensuring compliance with licensing, health & safety and company procedures. Assisting with rostering, stock management and ordering. Working closely with the kitchen and Cellar Door teams to ensure seamless service. Acting as Duty Manager when required and confidently resolving customer concerns. Supporting the Venue Manager to achieve sales, labour and operational targets. About You You'll be someone who: Has previous supervisory or management experience in a busy restaurant or hospitality venue. Is passionate about hospitality, food and wine. Leads by example with a positive, hands-on attitude. Has excellent communication and organisational skills. Thrives in a fast-paced environment and remains calm under pressure. Is committed to delivering exceptional customer service. Holds a current Duty Manager's Certificate (or is eligible to obtain one).
