About the role We are seeking a part-time (0.6 FTE) Community Nurse to join our Awhi Services team on a fixed-term contract until 30 June 2027. In this role, you will provide quality, competent clinical care that enhances the wellbeing of patients through a whānau ora approach. You will undertake the assessment, implementation, management, and evolution of care for patients in the community, ensuring all nursing care is delivered in line with professional and company standards. This role involves conducting home visits and working directly with patients and whānau in their own environments. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic, patient-centred care, while also supporting the management of long-term conditions and contributing to health promotion initiatives. To be successful you must Be eligible to work in New Zealand Be registered and hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate with the Nursing Council of New Zealand Have previous experience in a Primary Healthcare or Community Health setting Have Independent Vaccinator and HPV Screening certifications Be comfortable working independently and visiting patients in their homes Have strong communication and relationship-building skills Knowledge of diabetes management would be advantageous Commitment to equitable, whānau-centred care Have an understanding of the importance of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Te Ao Māori and other cultural competencies Benefits include Generous allowances and company incentives Discounted services within the Tui Group Work with a great team out of our brand-new Central clinic The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work in a variable workflow environment, build strong report with team members, have good communication and interpersonal skills, and a positive “can do” attitude. #J-18808-Ljbffr
