We design, build, install and maintain high-quality water solutions for residential, commercial, industrial and municipal clients throughout New Zealand. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and reliable Pump & Filtration Technician to join our team. This is a varied, hands-on role that offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from domestic water systems through to large commercial and industrial installations. About the Role As a Pump & Filtration Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing and maintaining water pumps, filtration systems, UV disinfection systems, water softeners, chemical dosing equipment and associated pipework. You will work both independently and alongside our experienced team to deliver quality workmanship and outstanding customer service. Typical duties include: Installation of pumps, pressure systems and water treatment equipment. Servicing and fault-finding on pumping and filtration systems. Installation of PVC, polyethylene and stainless-steel pipework. Commissioning new equipment and ensuring systems operate correctly. Routine maintenance and preventative servicing. Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults. Completing service reports and job documentation. Providing professional customer service on-site. Maintaining a high standard of health and safety. What We're Looking For The ideal applicant will have: Experience with pumps, plumbing, water treatment or mechanical services. Strong practical and problem-solving skills. The ability to read plans and follow installation drawings. Good communication skills and a positive attitude. A full New Zealand driver's licence. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Pride in producing high-quality workmanship. A commitment to workplace health and safety. Electrical Service Technician (EST) registration, plumbing experience or irrigation experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Full training will be provided to the right applicant.
