Client Services & Inventory Coordinator – Large Animal Veterinary Clinic Are you organised, proactive, and passionate about supporting rural communities and animal health? We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Client Services & Inventory Coordinator to join our busy large animal veterinary team. This is a varied role that combines inventory management with front-of-house reception duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys staying organised, working with people, and being an integral part of a supportive team. About the Role As our Client Services & Inventory Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic. You'll be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, coordinating stock ordering and control, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients both in person and over the phone. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management Manage veterinary medicines, consumables, and retail stock. Monitor stock levels and place orders with suppliers. Receive, check, and process incoming deliveries. Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stocktakes. Rotate stock and monitor expiry dates. Assist with pricing, stock reconciliation, and supplier communications. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations relating to veterinary medicines. Reception & Administration Welcome clients and provide a professional, friendly first point of contact. Answer telephone enquiries and schedule veterinary appointments. Process invoices and payments. Maintain accurate client and patient records. Support veterinarians and technicians with general administrative tasks. Assist with the smooth daily running of the clinic. You'll be someone who: Has excellent organisational and time management skills. Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can prioritise competing tasks. Has outstanding communication and customer service skills. Is confident using computer systems and learning new software. Has strong attention to detail and accuracy. Can work independently while contributing positively to a team. Has previous experience in inventory management, administration, reception, or a similar role (preferred). Experience in a veterinary clinic, rural business, or farming environment would be an advantage but is not essential. What We Offer: A supportive and friendly team environment.
