Sea Logistics Operational Care Specialist, Export Sea Logistics Operational Care Specialist – Christchurch Based Reporting to the Sea Logistics Operational Care Supervisor, this role is responsible for executing Sea Logistics export operations, including bookings with carriers and arranging transport as required. Working closely with peers in the Customer Care Team, the role ensures operational requirements are met to deliver overall customer excellence. How you create impact Generate all required export sea shipment documentation accurately and efficiently. Arrange bookings and manage amendments directly with shipping lines, maintaining communication with carriers and suppliers. Oversee order allocations and ensure full cargo and documentation visibility across Kuehne+Nagel's digital platforms. Apply financial acumen to manage vendor costs effectively. Deliver consistent, high-quality service throughout the sea logistics shipment cycle. Collaborate with Customer Care and other internal departments to meet customer expectations. Ensure adherence to regulatory and governance requirements. Support resolution of claims and disputes promptly and professionally. What we would like you to bring Minimum 5 years' freight forwarding or logistics experience within a New Zealand-based freight forwarder, with specific expertise in export sea logistics operations. Strong interpersonal abilities and collaborative mindset to engage positively with stakeholders. Meticulous approach ensuring accuracy and consistency.
