The Role As a Pump & Sealing Systems Consultant , you will work across pump supply, mechanical seals, and gasket solutions to support customers with technically robust, reliable, cost effective engineering outcomes. After training, you will: Manage and grow relationships across multiple industrial sectors Recommend and supply pumps, mechanical seals, custom sealing products, and Garlock gasketing solutions Conduct site visits, assess systems, and identify optimisation opportunities Prepare proposals, quotes, and solution packages Work closely with our servicing teams on pump overhauls and sealing system improvements Support inventory, sales records, and product planning What we offer Vehicle, phone/tablet Access to leading brands: Vulcan, SKF, DMH Freudenberg, Garlock, and our in-house Seal House product range Structured on boarding, technical training, and ongoing development Free onsite parking What you bring Experience in mechanical engineering, industrial sales, pump systems, sealing or related technical fields Understanding of pumps, and mechanical seals or gasket technologies Strong communication skills and confidence explaining technical concepts and solutions A solution focused mind-set and passion for supporting New Zealand industry Familiarity with SAP B1 and CRM platforms (such as HubSpot) would be a strong advantage This role suits someone who enjoys working within a medium sized, specialist engineering business, where collaboration, technical problem solving, and hands on customer support are part of everyday work.
