Part-Time Workshop Assistant / Machine Operator (Mon,Tues,Weds)

We are seeking a reliable, physically fit Part-Time Workshop Assistant / Machine Operator Support to join our team in East Tamaki. The Role This is a permanent part-time role working Monday - Wednesday (7:30 am – 4:00 pm) . You will work closely with our team to keep panel processing, assembly, and dispatch running smoothly at the start of every week. Key Responsibilities: Assisting with panel prep, board handling, and loading materials Assisting with the operation of CNC machinery and edgebander (full training provided) Assembling wardrobe cabinetry components and hardware Supporting sales with remake/repair parts to keep installation schedules on track Prepping finished jobs for dispatch and maintaining a safe, clean workshop environment What We Are Looking For: Reliability: Absolute consistency and showing up on time every Monday - Wednesday is non-negotiable. Physical Fitness: Comfortable with heavy lifting and handling large sheet materials (MDF/Melamine). Hands-on Attitude: Previous experience in timber processing, cabinetry, manufacturing, or trades is a strong advantage. Attention to Detail: Pride in producing clean, accurate work so our installers receive quality parts. Legally entitled to work in NZ with a reliable way to get to East Tamaki. What We Offer: Competitive Wage: $25.00 – $27.00/hr (negotiable based on experience) Set Schedule: Guaranteed Monday - Wednesday hours so you can easily manage your weekly commitments.
