We are currently seeking experienced Class 5 Drivers to join our client's growing team in the civil construction industry. This is a hands-on role offering variety, stable work, and the opportunity to be part of major infrastructure and civil projects. If you're an experienced driver who enjoys being part of a productive crew, takes pride in operating equipment safely, and isn't afraid to get stuck in and help the team when required, we'd love to hear from you. About the Role In this role, you'll be responsible for operating Class 5 vehicles to transport materials and equipment to and from civil construction sites. When driving duties are complete, you'll assist the wider crew with labouring, machine operation, and general site tasks to help keep projects running efficiently. This position offers long-term opportunities for the right candidate and the chance to work alongside an experienced and supportive team. What We're Looking For Proven experience operating Class 5 trucks within the civil construction industry Confidence driving vehicles fitted with Road Ranger gearboxes Current WTR (Wheels, Tracks & Rollers) endorsements Ability and willingness to assist with labouring and machine operation when required Strong work ethic and the ability to work long hours and early starts Flexible and available for away-from-home (stay-away) work, night shifts, and weekend work when project demands require Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks Commitment to maintaining high health and safety standards Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team environment Requirements Full New Zealand Class 5 Driver Licence Must be willing to travel and stay away from home for project work when required Must be available to work night shifts and weekends as needed Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test Clear Ministry of Justice/background check Reliable transport to and from work Two recent and contactable work references Legal right to work in New Zealand What's in It for You?
