Job Description
We’re looking for experienced Truck Drivers to join our Heavy Haulage team. If you hold a Class 5 licence and BESS certification and have experience with heavy haulage or over-dimension loads, we’d like to hear from you. This role suits someone who is safety-focused, reliable, and takes pride in doing the job properly. You’ll be comfortable working as part of a team, communicating with customers and colleagues, and using your initiative when required. A good understanding of vehicle maintenance, transport compliance, and completing paperwork accurately is also important. What You’ll Be Doing: Safely transport plant and equipment to and from sites. Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues. Secure and transport loads following best practices. Assistwith site setup and general labouring duties. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Maintain records and follow company policies. What We’re Looking For: Current BESS certification, or the ability and willingness to obtain BESS certification. Minimum 2 years' experience operating Class 5 heavy haulage vehicles and/or transporting over-dimension loads. Current New Zealand Class 5 Driver Licence with W, T and R endorsements, or an equivalent international licence that can be converted to the required New Zealand licences and endorsements. Ability to communicate effectively in English with customers, site personnel, and team members. Ability to work safely and comply with transport regulations, company procedures, and health and safety requirements. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow operational instructions.
