Our Planning & Estimating team plays a key role in securing the projects that help shape New Zealand's future electrical infrastructure. About the Role We're looking for a Bid Lead to join our Planning & Estimating team in Christchurch. In this role, you'll lead the delivery of high-quality bids, tenders, and quotations. Working closely with teams across the business, you'll help deliver commercially robust solutions that maximise value and support Connetics' continued success. The role will often see you manage multiple concurrent bids, ensuring all submissions are strategically positioned, compliant, and delivered to the highest standards within tight deadlines. Responsibilities include: Leading the end-to-end development of high-quality bids, tenders, and quotations, ensuring timelines, governance, and review processes are met Delivering high-quality, client-focused tenders and proposals that are commercially robust and compelling Engaging the appropriate resources from across the business and project manage all relevant stakeholders to ensure required information and contributions are delivered within agreed timeframes. Maintaining our library of bid and proposal content Supporting the Planning & Estimating team while driving continuous improvement initiatives Delivering commercially robust solutions that support sustainable business growth About You You’ll thrive in this role if you have: Experience in estimating, tendering, bid writing, and commercial management, ideally in the electrical, construction, or related industries Strong commercial acumen and the ability to assess risk and maximise value Strong written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
