Intermediate Transport Engineer

CKL is seeking an Intermediate Transport Engineer to join our Auckland team. You will work across a varied portfolio transport projects, providing practical advice from initial feasibility through consenting and design. Key responsibilities Prepare transport assessments, technical reports and consent responses. Undertake traffic engineering design, vehicle tracking, intersection analysis and safety assessments. Liaise with clients, councils, transport agencies and other technical disciplines. Support project delivery while managing your own tasks. Assist and mentor junior team members as your experience develops. About you You will have a relevant engineering or planning qualification and approximately three to six years’ transport engineering experience, preferably within New Zealand. You will be a clear communicator with sound technical judgement, strong report-writing skills and the ability to develop practical, defensible solutions. Experience with SIDRA, AutoTURN and transport-related consenting or design would be advantageous.
