Early learning / kōhanga reo, Certificated teacher Belonging / Mana Whenua, Contribution / Mana Tangata, Communication / Mana Reo, Exploration / Mana Aotūroa, Well-being / Mana Atua We are seeking a passionate and qualified early childhood teacher with a special interest and expertise in working with toddlers (18 months +) and pre-school agreed children (3+ years) to join our team in Tai Tapu, on the outskirts of Christchurch About the role As part of our teaching team, you will: Create and maintain a calm, responsive, and loving environment where our youngest learners feel safe and valued. Build trusting partnerships with whānau, respecting and supporting their aspirations for their children. Deliver language rich, creative and exploratory experiences Work collaboratively with a supportive team and contribute to a positive, professional culture. About you You will be: ECE qualified and registered (NZ Teaching Council) Professional or personal experience with toddler + Knowledgeable about early childhood development, respectful care practices, and responsive relationships. Compassionate, patient, and committed to providing high-quality education and care. A reflective practitioner who values teamwork, communication, and continuous learning. Experience with learning stories, planning cycles, and positive guidance practices is preferred.
