Finance Analyst | Newmarket

About the role This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially savvy analyst who enjoys working with data, partnering with stakeholders, and influencing business outcomes through meaningful financial analysis. Reporting to Head of Treasury and Valuation, you will play a key role in financial reporting, forecasting, performance analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business. You'll work closely with teams across Finance, Operations, Sales, Development, and Support Office functions to provide actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making Key responsibilities Deliver financial analysis and reporting to support business performance and decision-making. Analyse financial results, identify trends, risks and opportunities, and provide meaningful recommendations. Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance review processes. Prepare reporting and insights for business leaders, Finance, Executive and Board stakeholders. Manage and maintain key data sets to support forecasting, valuation and reporting activities. Drive improvements in financial reporting, systems and processes through automation and innovation. Contribute to finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives. About You With a relevant finance or accounting qualification, (CA or working towards), we are looking for a commercially minded finance professional who can turn data into meaningful insights and confidently partner with stakeholders across the business. Experience in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, or management reporting. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and provide actionable insights. Advanced Excel skills, with Power BI experience an advantage. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to stakeholder management. A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and business performance.
