Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive offline sales growth and market expansion for our products in the New Zealand market. You will be responsible for building and managing distributor relationships, expanding retail coverage, and delivering sustainable revenue growth across key sales channels. This is a hands-on, field-based role that requires strong commercial acumen and the ability to execute at both strategic and operational levels. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement offline sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence across New Zealand. Distributor & Channel Management: Build, manage, and support relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners to ensure strong product visibility and availability. Retail Expansion: Identify and onboard new retail partners; negotiate trading terms, promotions, and in-store placements to increase market coverage. In-Store Execution: Work closely with retail partners to optimize product merchandising, in-store displays, and promotional activities to drive sell-through performance. Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback; provide actionable insights to support business decision-making. Sales Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on sales performance, inventory levels, and sell-out data; adjust strategies to maximize results and achieve monthly/quarterly targets. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, supply chain, and product teams to ensure alignment between sales activities and overall business objectives. Requirements: 3+ years of experience in offline sales, channel management, or business development, preferably in FMCG, health supplements, or consumer goods. Proven track record in managing distributor and retail relationships in the New Zealand market. Strong understanding of the New Zealand retail landscape, including major grocery, pharmacy, and health food retail channels. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and manage a remote sales territory. Experience in the consumer health or wellness products sector is highly preferred. Willingness to travel regularly within New Zealand to visit partners and retail outlets. Existing network of distributor or retail contacts in New Zealand is a strong advantage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
