Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Wellington-based Cybersecurity role with hybrid working flexibility Work with critical OT/ICS/SCADA environments Competitive salary, benefits, and career development opportunities Reporting to the Cyber Security Operations Manager, the Cyber Analyst plays a key role in protecting KiwiRail’s operational and information technology environments, with a particular focus on Train Control and Maritime/Ships systems. Working within a collaborative Cyber Security team, you willmonitorand investigate security events, manage incidents and remediation activities, support continuous improvement initiatives, and help strengthen cyber security awareness across the organisation. You will also contribute to cyber security assurance activities and support the development of security policies, standards, frameworks, and processes. Key responsibilities include: Monitoring, investigating, and responding to cyber security incidents and anomalous events Managing remediation activities and enhancements to cyber security tools and controls Supporting automation and continuous improvement initiatives Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Contributing to cyber security awareness, training, reporting, and risk assessments Participating in a 24/7 on-call roster To succeed in this role,you'llbring a passion for cyber security, strong analytical skills, and the ability to build effective relationships across the business.You'recomfortable working in a fast-paced environment and enjoy solving complex problems while balancing technical and customer needs.
