Our Blenheim team is looking for an Operations Supervisor reporting to the Branch Manager to lead day-to-day operations across our team, fleet, and site activities. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll: Lead, motivate, and get the best out of your team Coordinate daily operations across drivers, fleet, and equipment Look after fleet performance, compliance, and operational requirements Manage branch administration, reporting, and use data to support improvements Support a safe and efficient working environment, while jumping behind the wheel when needed Working closely with the Branch Manager, you’ll take ownership of the operational side of the branch, allowing them to focus on customers and business opportunities. This role will suit someone who enjoys being hands-on, building strong teams, and keeping things running smoothly. The ideal candidate will: Have proven experience leading teams in a fast-paced operational environment Bring experience in the Transport and/or Waste industry Hold a Class 2 licence and be comfortable driving when required Have experience managing fleet activities and operational requirements Be a hands-on leader who can motivate, coach, and develop people Have experience with health and safety, reporting, and analysing data Be organised and confident managing administration and multiple priorities Be an intermediate user of MS Office Hold NZ residency or an open NZ work visa The successful applicant will need to complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment (including drugs test) and a satisfactory Ministry of Justice criminal records check.
