Every action you take is a step toward a safer and more secure future. Mo te tūranga|About the role We’re seeking multiple Quality Assurance Analysts to join our dynamic team. In this position, you’ll be responsible for conducting Quality Assurance (QA) reviews within financial crime disciplines, ensuring that compliance processes are followed, risks are identified, and opportunities for improvement are clearly understood. Your investigative mindset, curiosity, ability to question professionally, and attention to detail will be key to the success of this role. Your key responsibilities will include: Conduct QA reviews across financial crime areas, with a focus on sanctions, transaction monitoring, AML/CFT, KYC and ECDD Review and analyse data from multiple sources, identifying discrepancies, patterns, emerging risks and opportunities for improvement Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide clear guidance on compliance requirements and process improvements Track error trends and provide insights to inform corrective actions and improve operational performance Use data and insights to support decision‑making, identify themes and strengthen quality outcomes Manage a diverse workload, ensuring efficient prioritisation while seeking opportunities to optimise processes and outcomes To succeed in this role, you’ll have a passion for financial crime prevention and compliance. You’ll be someone who is curious, considered and confident enough to ask good questions, challenge the status quo professionally, and work through complex information to reach sound conclusions. You do not need to be the loudest person in the room to make an impact. We’re looking for people who bring strong judgement, confidence in their thinking, and the ability to engage constructively with others. You will have the following: Solid knowledge and experience in Financial Crime Compliance, particularly across sanctions, transaction monitoring, AML/CFT, KYC and/or ECDD A strong understanding of compliance obligations, policies, and procedure A keen eye for detail and the ability to spot anomalies, trends and emerging risks Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex compliance requirements into simple, actionable advice Experience with SQL, Power BI or similar tools would be a bonus A legal or risk background would be advantageous, as these skills can bring valuable ways of thinking to the role The confidence and curiosity to question processes, challenge assumptions professionally and identify areas for improvement He aha tā mātou | What can we offer Get the work‑life equation right.
