Hastings Class 2 Metro Driver / Storeperson

Our goal is to become the Market Leader - to be the best. An opportunity has become available for an experienced Class 2 Metro Driver / Storeperson, based at our Hastings Branch. This role is a permanent full-time position, reporting to the Hastings Operations Manager. We are after a person with the following skills, experience and certifications: Must have: Current Forklift Operator Certificate Clean and valid Class 2 drivers License Dangerous Goods Endorsement Minimum 2 years' experience of class 2 driving in New Zealand domestic transport industry or international comparison Good driving skills, able to drive and back a truck and trailer unit with confidence Strong, reliable and safe work ethics Able to work unsupervised Good command of the English language Relates well to others Desirable: Current DG Handling for Road Transport Certificate Basic knowledge of the geographic layout First Aid certificate If you can demonstrate the above attributes with a proven work history then we would like to hear from you.
