Right now, we're looking for an experienced Senior Surveyor to join our Structures Southern team. What's the opportunity? As a Senior Surveyor, you'll play a critical role in delivering accurate, high-quality surveying services across our civil and structural projects. You'll work closely with engineers, project teams, and stakeholders while mentoring junior surveyors and helping drive best practice across the business. This is a hands-on leadership role combining field surveying, project support, quality assurance, and technical expertise. What you'll be doing Leading surveying activities across multiple project sites Managing survey resources, set-outs, and survey controls Providing accurate survey data for construction delivery and project reporting Collaborating with engineers and project teams to ensure design accuracy Monitoring quality and identifying potential design issues early Mentoring and developing Surveyors and junior team members Producing models, drawings, calculations, and reports using Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Trimble Business Centre Ensuring all surveying activities are completed safely and to specification Supporting machine control guidance systems and advanced survey technologies where required What you'll bring Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying Minimum 5 years' experience in surveying within civil construction Strong understanding of surveying methodologies and civil construction practices Experience using Total Stations, GNSS, and levelling equipment Proficiency with survey software and digital modelling tools Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills A collaborative leadership style and commitment to mentoring others High attention to detail and passion for quality outcomes Marine construction experience will be highly regarded.
