Data Engineer / Consultant

Our client is looking for a Data Engineer who’s looking to take the next step in their career and learn from the best in the business. You’ll be working across the full stack of data solutions from building backend data warehouses to analytics and visualisation through dashboards. Locations: Auckland and Wellington What You’ll Need To Succeed In-depth knowledge of SQL and/or other database solutions Proficiency in Data warehousing and ETL tools Experience in Databricks is a must Experience in data modelling techniques Be able to translate business requirements into conceptual and logical data models Ability to create SQL queries, Stored Procedures, and User-Defined Functions. Exposure to visualisation and dashboarding (PowerBI, Tableau etc) would be a nice to have Must have good communication skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced agile environment with tight deadlines Strong customer service skills to both internal and external clients A bonus would be someone who is experienced with AWS, Azure and Snowflake Please note that only candidates who have the legal right to work in New Zealand will be considered for this role.
