Nail Technician

We are seeking a passionate Nail Technician to join our beauty shop in Silverdale, Auckland. As a Nail Technician, you will provide high-quality nail care services, ensuring client satisfaction, hygiene, and comfort in accordance with professional industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manicures and pedicures including nail shaping, cuticle grooming, exfoliation, massage, and polish application
\n
• Apply artificial nails, acrylics, gels, or nail extensions using industry-standard techniques
\n
• Create nail art and designs based on client preferences
\n
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and tools
\n
• Advise clients on nail and skin care for hands and feet
\n
• Identify nail disorders or potential health issues and refer clients as necessary
\n
• Recommend and promote nail care products and services
\n
• Follow all workplace health, hygiene, and safety regulations
\n
• Keep up to date with new products, trends, and techniques
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Minimum 2 years, or Level 4 (Trade Certificate or diploma) in nail or beauty sector, or
  \n a bachelor degree in any fields may replace for the required relevant experience.
\n
• Strong understanding of hygiene and safety protocols
\n
• Excellent customer service
\n
• Good health and no skin allergies.
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays or late hours as required
\n

Position Detail:

\n
• Minimum and maximum hourly rate (Gross): $27 – $35 per hour (depending on skills and experience)
\n
• Hours per Week: Minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week, maximum up to 40 hours per week
\n
