Customer Specialist - Albany

We're looking for a Customer Specialist to join our friendly and high-performing team at our Albany Advice Centre. This role operates on a flexible roster across Monday to Sunday, offering variety, flexibility and the opportunity to support customers when they need us most. As a Customer Specialist, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, helping them with their everyday banking needs while making banking simpler and easier through digital solutions. You'll build trusted relationships, have meaningful conversations, and identify opportunities to connect customers with the right products, services and specialists to support their financial wellbeing. Key responsibilities include: Delivering exceptional customer service across a range of banking enquiries Supporting customers with digital banking tools and technology Assisting with account opening and customer onboarding Identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions Referring customers to specialist teams when required Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve great customer outcomes Maintaining strong risk and compliance standards in everything you do We're interested in people who genuinely enjoy helping others and creating great customer experiences. You'll likely bring: Customer service, retail, hospitality or banking experience Strong communication and relationship-building skills Confidence using technology and learning new systems A proactive, curious mindset and a willingness to learn The ability to remain calm and adaptable in a busy environment Banking experience is beneficial but not essential.
