Class 5 Linehaul Driver| Full-Time

We are looking for Class 5 linehaul Drivers to join our day and night shift team based in Hamilton. Successful applicants must be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment. Experience is preferable, but we are open to provide training to the ideal candidate. Successful applicant will be staying nights away from home. Night allowance will be paid. Road ranger gearbox experience is also a must for this job.

About the Role \n

As a Class 5 Driver, you will be responsible for:

\n

\n
• Operating Class 5 truck and trailer units on scheduled linehaul routes.
\n
• Safely transporting freight while ensuring on-time deliveries.
\n
• Completing pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections.
\n
• Securing and checking loads in accordance with company procedures.
\n
• Complying with NZTA regulations, logbook requirements, and health and safety policies.
\n
• Reporting any vehicle faults, incidents, or delays promptly.
\n
• Maintaining a professional attitude when dealing with customers and freight depots.
\n
• Keeping vehicles clean and presenting them to a high standard.
\n

What We're Looking For \n

• Current NZ Class 5 Driver Licence.
\n
• Good understanding of NZTA transport regulations and work time rules.
\n
• Excellent reversing and manoeuvring skills.
\n
• A strong commitment to safety and compliance.
\n
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
\n
• Reliable, honest, and punctual with a positive attitude.
\n
• Able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
\n
