Collaborate with the catering team to plan and execute menus that meet the diverse needs of our clients, from corporate events to private functions. Support the setup and breakdown of catering events, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are organized and ready for service. Engage with clients and guests to provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or special requests promptly and professionally. Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies, assisting in ordering and restocking as necessary to ensure seamless operations. Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in food safety, catering techniques, and customer service. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and service areas, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Assist in the development of promotional materials and menus to attract new clients and enhance the visibility of our catering services. Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate the varying schedules of our catering events. Contribute ideas and feedback to improve catering processes and enhance the overall client experience. Collaborate with other departments within Bayvenues to ensure a cohesive approach to event planning and execution. Requirements Previous experience in a catering or hospitality role is preferred, but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and guests. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is an advantage. Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and evenings, to meet the demands of catering events. A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset, with a passion for providing exceptional customer experiences. Nice to have Experience in event planning or coordination is a plus. Familiarity with dietary restrictions and preferences, enabling you to cater to diverse client needs. Previous experience with point-of-sale systems or catering software would be beneficial.
