About the Role TheMRI Service at Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, Waitaha provide patient centred careacross multiple sites. We currently have four 1.5T scanners and one 3Tspread across two sites. We are a hardworking teamwho use professional knowledge and skills to ensure the provision of a quality patient-centred imaging service. Our busy tertiary hospital setting will offer you the challenge ofperforming a wide range of procedures involving acute, planned, inpatient, andoutpatient workloads. You’ll coordinate workloads and liaise withclinical and support staff. We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our MRI Team at Christchurch Hospital, New Zealand. Inthis role, you will be responsible for: Ensuringthat the MRI scanner operates effectively and efficiently; Producinghigh standard image quality; Managinga daily and weekly workload across multiple MRI scanners; Havinga strong focus for patient care and workflow; Deliveringa patient-focused service, with a best for patient – best for systemapproach; Demonstratinga commitment to continued professional development and knowledge sharing. About You The ability to work effectively and efficiently within a fast-paced environment; The ability to work collaboratively within our multidisciplinary team; Proven administrative and organisational skills; Registration with the Medical Radiation Technologists Board as a Medical Imaging Technologist; A minimum of 5 years' experience in MRI with a focus on experience in Cardiac MRI You will be required to participate in a 24/7 rostered service including on call.
