Head Teacher - Under 2s Greenlane Childcare Centre Full time, Permanent Since 1971, we've provided a home away from home where children can learn, be loved, and have fun. Licensed for 48 children aged 3 months to 5 years across two rooms, we pride ourselves on creating a warm, relationship-based environment where both children and teachers thrive. As the team leader of our Koru room, you will work alongside two other kaiako, leading a team that provides nurturing, responsive care for up to 12 tamariki. We are a privately owned centre with strong, long-standing relationships with our local area. One of the highlights of our programme is our regular excursions to beautiful Cornwall Park. Our Under 2s are fortunate to have two six-seater prams, allowing the whole room to head out together to explore nature, enjoy fresh air, and experience the local community. About you We're looking for someone who: Has a genuine passion for working with children under two. Is a fully registered Early Childhood teacher in New Zealand. Has experience in a leadership role within a New Zealand ECE setting and is confident leading, mentoring, and supporting a team. Builds warm, responsive relationships with children, whānau, and colleagues. Is organised, reflective, and committed to providing high-quality teaching and care.
