About the Role Barker’s is seeking a proactive, detail-driven Procurement Coordinator to support our Procurement team in Geraldine. In this hands‑on role, you’ll manage inbound stock, support procurement processes, and ensure accurate inventory data to help keep our production running, with a strong focus on managing fresh fruit and vegetable inputs into our manufacturing site. Key Responsibilities Maintain incoming containers and stock tracking systems to ensure visibility and accuracy. Coordinate and receipt fresh produce deliveries into the manufacturing site. Support grower payments administration, working with Finance to reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies. Coordinate NZ transport logistics, ensuring correct pricing is applied to invoices. Manage seasonal fruit requirements, liaising with growers and internal teams. Raise and manage purchase orders, tracking through to delivery and completion. Run quarantine meetings and drive resolution of stock-related issues. Maintain forecasting data and ensure pricing accuracy within systems. Create and manage item codes and maintain master data integrity. Liaise with suppliers to resolve issues and support strong working relationships. Provide administration support for supplier reviews and performance tracking. Contribute to continuous improvement across procurement and inventory processes. What You’ll Bring Experience in procurement, inventory, or a strong administrative background. Previous experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP). Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Strong communication skills and confidence working across teams and suppliers. Highly organized with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset. A collaborative approach, with a genuine care for people and a commitment to building positive relationships across the business.
