What You'll Do As a Reconciliation Specialist, you'll play an important role in supporting Genesis' market operations by ensuring our energy reporting, settlements and reconciliations are accurate, compliant and delivered on time. Working closely with internal teams, external partners and industry stakeholders, you'll investigate variances, maintain critical market data and help identify opportunities to improve systems and processes. Some Of The Key Responsibilities Are Prepare and submit Electricity Authority reports, ensuring compliance with industry requirements and deadlines. Complete energy and network reconciliations, investigating variances and supporting issue resolution. Maintain the Electricity Registry and support annual Electricity Authority market audits. Provide reporting and analysis to internal stakeholders, regulators and external partners. Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance reporting systems and processes. What You'll Bring You’ll enjoy working with data, solving problems and delivering accurate outcomes. You’ll be naturally organised, collaborative and comfortable working in a regulated environment where attention to detail really matters. We're Looking For Someone With 1-2 years' experience in the energy, utilities or financial services sector, with exposure to regulatory or compliance reporting. Strong Excel skills, particularly formulas. Experience working with data management, reconciliation and reporting systems. Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for improving systems and processes. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build strong working relationships. A proactive approach, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. A background in wholesale or retail energy operations would be beneficial, but we're equally interested in people with strong analytical capability and a willingness to learn.
