Full time, Permanent Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts Cromwell Primary School is seeking an experienced, collaborative and passionate teacher to join our team as our learning support coordinator (LSC). This is a full-time permanent position comprising: 0.8 FTTE, learning support coordinator 0.2 FTTE, negotiated with the successful applicant and based on their strengths and the needs of the school. This may include specialist teaching, classroom release, intervention teaching, or another agreed area of responsibility. The learning support coordinator plays a key role in ensuring children with additional learning needs are identified early and receive coordinated, effective support. Working alongside the leadership team, teachers, whānau, specialists and external agencies, the successful applicant will strengthen inclusive practice across the school and help ensure every learner can thrive. We are looking for someone who: Is a fully registered teacher with a current practising certificate. Has extensive classroom experience and a strong understanding of inclusive education. Builds positive relationships with students, whānau, staff and external agencies. Will contribute to our positive, values-driven culture. Supports inclusive practice and effective learning support across the school. Demonstrates strong communication, organisation and collaboration skills. Is committed to improving outcomes for all learners.
