CAR RENTAL AREA BRANCH MANAGER | HIREACE About Us Hireace and Bargain Rentals is a well-established, New Zealand owned and operated business with fourteen branches nationwide from Auckland to Christchurch.Hireace specialises in commercial vehicle and trailer hire, Bargain Rentals in car hire. We have a great opportunity for an experienced person to join our team as an Area Branch Manager looking after our Henderson and Grey Lynn Branches. The Role In this role, you will be responsible for the management of two busy Branches. You will have ultimate responsibility for all Branch operations. You will strive to achieve business growth, demonstrate exceptional customer focus and be a key point of contact for customers, team members and Head Office. Specific Duties Ensure that levels of customer service exceed their expectations in a way that is superior to that of our competitors. Build strong relationships with customers to ensure continued market leadership. Create a supportive and motivating environment for your team to learn and develop their skills and knowledge, whilst clearly understanding their role and accountabilities. Maintain a level of branch standards that adhere to company expectations and procedures. Financial planning, P&L and budget capabilities Create rosters and manage wage costs Maintain - exceed KPI's set by Head Office. Carry out weekly site audits of branch and vehicles Ensure vehicles are road worthy and manage all maintenance costs Ensure staff adhere to the occupational health and safety regulations Manage collection and drop-off for customers to the airport Skills and Experience Required This role requires a minimum of 24 months of relevant leadership experience in the Rental Car or similar industry. Experience with Rental Car Manager Platform is desirable Proven Experience in achieving operational KPIs Experience in leading teams remotely Experience in people management in a diverse industry Highly engaging and professional Exceptional problem-solving and Decision-making skills Willing to complete any task relevant to the operational success of the branches Well-groomed with excellent hygiene Strong knowledge in Health & Safety Full, clean NZ Driver's Licence; must be able to drive a manual vehicle mand Company Car Hours of Work Working hours 50 hours a week - to cover a 7-day-a-week operation, you will be expected to work at least 1 day of the weekend within 40 hour week The hourly rate starts at $30 per hour, dependent on experience Full training and support given to successful applicants #J-18808-Ljbffr
