We’re on the hunt for a Freight Operator to join our Mount Maunganui branch! Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating in New Zealand from Kaitaia to Invercargill. Afternoon Shift: Monday - Friday 4.00pm - 12.30am About the role - Mō te tūranga In this hands‑on role, you’ll be loading and unloading freight, scanning, sorting and keeping everything moving safely and on time. No two days are the same – its’ a fast‑paced, physical role where teamwork is key. Key duties: Load and unload all freight safely and securely, for both road and rail units. Achieve branch operational objectives by using On-time to scan freight efficiently. Ensure all equipment is operated in a safe and proficient manner. Maintain good working relationships. Communicate effectively within a team environment. What will you bring? Clean Full NZ Class 1 License. Forklift License with OSH cert. Dangerous Good Endorsement. Customer-focused attitude.
