The suitable applicant ideally understands the Emmi Pikler/RIE and Reggio Emilia philosophies and has experience in implementing these practices. The successful applicant will be: Passionate for respectful practices and have a willingness to develop further and share ideas Fun, bubbly and outgoing (have a sense of humour) Professional Physically fit to keep up with the children Attentive to children's needs A supportive team player Honest and reliable Hard working with a positive attitude Have an understanding of Primary Caregiving and what that looks like in practice We are a small, intimate centre with a maximum of 32 children each day. We are family owned and operated with the tamariki at the heart of everything we do. We are whānau focused, and are dedicated to getting to know the child's whole family and what makes them who they are. Inspiring Minds was purpose built to establish and create a natural, aesthetic environment in which to foster positive relationships with tamariki, their whānau and the community. We are situated in Waipapa, only 10 minutes from Kerikeri township in a rural setting surrounded by nature.
