Maintenance Planner & Scheduler

We are seeking an organised and proactive Planner & Scheduler to join our Maintenance and Services Team at our Glenavy site. Reporting to theReliability & Planning Manager, this role is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating preventative and corrective maintenance activities to maximise plant reliability, minimise downtime, and support safe, efficient production across site. You'll be required to build strong relationships across various levels and continuously seek improvements whilst maintaining H&S, and Food Safety & Quality standards. Key Responsibilities Plan and schedule preventative, shutdown, and corrective maintenance activities. Develop work packs including labour, materials, permits, tools, and safety requirements. Manage maintenance backlog and prioritise work orders. Coordinate spare parts, inventory requirements, and purchase orders. Work closely with Maintenance, Operations, Stores, and Contractors to ensure work is completed efficiently. Monitor maintenance performance and identify opportunities for reliability improvements. Support site safety, quality, food safety, and environmental standards. About You Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, reliability, or asset management within manufacturing or industrial environments. Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of preventative maintenance and continuous improvement practices. Engineering, trade, or technical qualification preferred. Strong communicator who enjoys working collaboratively across teams. Proficient with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office. Who are we?
