Job Description
A number of of our valued clients across New Zealand are looking for Registrars starting in August 2026, December 2026 and February 2027
\nWe have vacancies in the following specialties:
\n- \n
- Geriatrics \n
- Respiratory \n
- Neurology \n
- Medical \n
- Surgical \n
- Psychiatric \n
- Emergency \n
You will be:
\n- \n
- PGY2 / PGY3 or equivalent \n
- Interested in broadening your clinical exposure \n
- Eligible to work in New Zealand \n
You will be joining a team of highly skilled professionals motivated to make a difference in people’s lives
\nThese positions are based in stunning locations in the North and the South Islands
\nBoth locations are well known for their outdoor recreational opportunities including tramping, cycling, mountain biking, as well as river and water sports - boating and kayaking. The locations are also close to a coast line that offers lots of sun, good surf, boating, fishing and deep see diving.
\nAbout you
\nIdeal candidates will have:
\n- \n
- Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You can check your eligibility for registration by visiting the Council's website at mcnz.org.nz \n

- A minimum of 2 years postgraduate experience and want to gain further experience or advance a career in any of the above mentioned specialties \n

\nYou will need to complete the 6 questions to ascertain whether or not you are eligible for registration in NZ

\nIt is requirement of the Medical Council NZ that your qualifications are approved through EPIC. If you have a commitment to working in New Zealand, it is highly recommended that you start this process as soon as possible to allow your subsequent registration to be undertaken in a timely fashion.
