Help shape the future of health education and research.

We're looking for an accomplished Operations Manager to support the delivery of major strategic and transformation initiatives across our Faculty of Health Professional Programmes (HPP). In this influential fixed term role through to the end of December 2026, you'll work with senior leaders, connect diverse stakeholder groups, and help drive programmes that deliver lasting impact across the faculty.

Working in partnership with the Head of Faculty and Faculty Manager, you will lead the coordination and delivery of strategic and transformation activities across a diverse and dynamic environment. You will provide high-level operational and project support, ensuring initiatives are effectively planned, monitored and delivered. This includes driving reporting and governance processes, identifying and managing risks and dependencies, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and helping to translate strategy into action.

We're seeking a highly organised and proactive professional to drive visibility, alignment, and progress across a portfolio of Faculty priorities and strategic initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are well coordinated, stakeholders remain connected, and leaders have the insights they need to make informed decisions and deliver meaningful outcomes.

The successful candidate will have a proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams, manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment, and translate complex information into clear reporting and actionable recommendations.

Coordinate and manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, ensuring priorities stay on track.

This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week) fixed term role through to end of December 2026, based in Otepoti, Dunedin.

The appointment range is $107,320 to $115,834 per annum.
