About the role We are seeking an experienced and dynamicStore Managerto lead our Wellington CBD store. This is afull-time positionbased inWellington CBD, Wellington, where you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, driving sales performance, and creating an exceptional shopping environment for our customers. As Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in achieving our business objectives whilst building and maintaining a high-performing team that embodies our company values and commitment to excellence. Key responsibilities: Oversee all daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and maintaining visual merchandising standards Drive sales performance and meet or exceed store targets through effective sales strategies, staff engagement, and customer service excellence Manage inventory control, stock rotation, and ordering processes to ensure optimal product availability Maintain store presentation and health and safety standards in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements Report on store performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making What we're looking for: Proven experience as a Store Manager or retail management position within a similar retail environment Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate, train, and develop team members Excellent knowledge of retail operations, including stock control, visual merchandising, and customer service best practices Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and drive profitability Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with staff, customers, and stakeholders Proficiency with retail management systems and point-of-sale (POS) software Health and Safety awareness with knowledge of workplace health and safety compliance Flexibility and willingness to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends as required A passion for retail and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences What we offer: At Working Style, we offer a competitive salary package commensurate with experience, along with a range of benefits designed to enhance your working life.
