The Production Charge Up Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient charging of underground production stopes in accordance with mine plans, blast designs and site procedures. Working closely with Production, Technical Services and Drill & Blast teams, this role ensures explosives are handled, transported and utilised safely to achieve planned production outcomes while maintaining compliance with legislative requirements and Endura's safety standards. Job requirements Safely transport, handle and use explosives in accordance with site procedures and statutory requirements. Charge underground production stopes in line with approved blast designs and schedules. Operate Mobile Manufacturing Units (MMUs) and ancillary charging equipment where applicable. Conduct pre-start inspections of charging equipment and explosive storage facilities. Prepare production stopes for charging and blasting activities. Install primers, detonators and initiation system in accordance with approved ed blast plans. Ensure blast exclusion zones, barricading and clearances are established and maintained. Participate in blast preparation, tie-up, firing and post-blast inspection activities. Monitor charging quality and identify opportunities to improve blast outcomes. Maintain accurate blast and explosives consumption records. Identify and report equipment faults, safety hazards and operational issues. Work collaboratively with Production Drillers, Bogger Operators, Supervisors and Technical Services personnel to achieve production targets. Job responsibilities Previous underground mining experience. Demonstrated experience in underground production charge-up operations. Current Manual Driver Licence. Hold or be able to obtain a Controlled Substances Licence (where required ). Strong knowledge of underground production blasting practices and explosives handling requirements. Commitment to health, safety and environmental compliance. Strong communication and teamwork skills. High attention to detail and ability to follow blast designs and procedures accurately. Ability to identify hazards and implement effective controls. Ability to work a 7/7 roster (days and nights). Job benefits Competitive remuneration package. Accommodation Allowance.
