What you'll be doing As a key member of our Commercial Finance team, you will: Partner closely with Sales & Marketing, Innovation and S&OP leaders to provide meaningful financial insights and commercial guidance. Deliver monthly reporting, forecasting and performance analysis that supports quality decision-making. Lead and support budgeting, strategic planning and long-range forecasting activities. Identify business opportunities, risks and performance drivers, helping stakeholders make informed decisions. Translate complex financial information into clear, practical recommendations for non-financial audiences. Promote strong financial governance, controls and risk management practices. Drive process improvements and champion continuous improvement initiatives across the business. Build trusted relationships across multiple teams, influencing outcomes through collaboration and expertise. What success looks like in this role You'll be someone who enjoys being close to the action. You won't just report on performance, you'll help shape it. You'll combine commercial curiosity with strong analytical thinking and be comfortable moving between strategic conversations and detailed financial analysis. You'll know how to challenge constructively, build credibility quickly, and influence stakeholders at all levels. Most importantly, you'll enjoy working as part of a collaborative team that values partnership, innovation and continuous improvement. What you'll bring We're looking for a finance professional who can balance technical capability with commercial insight and relationship-building skills. Ideally, You'll Have A relevant tertiary qualification and CA qualification (or equivalent). Three or more years' experience in Finance or Accounting. Strong commercial acumen and an ability to connect financial outcomes with business performance. Excellent analytical, modelling and problem-solving skills. Experience with financial systems, reporting frameworks and governance processes. Confidence communicating financial concepts to a broad range of stakeholders. The ability to influence, educate and partner effectively with both financial and non-financial teams. A proactive mindset, resilience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact. Experience within dairy, FMCG or manufacturing environments would be advantageous, but it isn't essential. Why join Westland?
