Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Wheel Alignment and Tyre Technician role based in Rotorua. The technician will carry out wheel alignments, fit and balance new tyres, perform tyre repairs, and assist with general wheel and tyre services. Day-to-day tasks include assessing tyre and wheel condition, recommending suitable products or services, and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently. The role also involves interacting with customers, explaining work performed, and maintaining a clean, organized workshop. The technician will collaborate with the team to support smooth daily operations and deliver high-quality service. Qualifications Ability to perform wheel alignments, tyre fitting, balancing, and basic tyre repairs safely and accurately. General mechanical aptitude and practical skills working with tools, equipment, and vehicle systems. Strong customer service skills, including clear communication and a friendly, professional manner. Attention to detail, good problem-solving abilities, and commitment to quality workmanship. Physical capability to handle manual work, including lifting tyres and wheels and working on vehicles. Willingness to follow health and safety procedures and maintain a tidy, organized work environment. Previous experience in a tyre shop, automotive workshop, or similar setting is preferable but not essential. Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work effectively as part of a small team. A full NZ driver’s license and the ability to drive a range of vehicles (both manual and automatic) is essential, but consideration will be given for the right person who currently holds a restricted licence. #J-18808-Ljbffr
