Job Description
Commercial Business Partner We're looking for a commercially minded Commercial Business Partner to join our client's finance team in an established and busy role. Working across a complex mix of sectors and business operations, including farming, manufacturing, logistics and distribution, you'll partner with operational leaders to provide insights and recommendations that help teams understand performance, manage costs and make well-informed decisions. This role suits someone who enjoys getting close to the business, collaborative problem-solving, and using financial information to identify opportunities and support better outcomes. Key Responsibilities Assist with budgeting, forecasting and month-end processes, providing analysis and insights that support business performance. Communicate financial results and analysis in a clear and meaningful way to a range of stakeholders. Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying key drivers, trends, risks and opportunities, and providing practical recommendations for improvement. Assist with initiatives focused on cost efficiency, inventory management and working capital optimisation. Support the evaluation of strategic projects, CAPEX investments and cost-saving initiatives (CLIP). Develop analysis and financial models to support decision-making and investment opportunities. About You You are a collaborative finance professional who wants to be seen as a trusted advisor rather than someone who simply produces reports. You're comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities, and building strong relationships across the business. Skills & Experience Experience in a Senior Accountant, Commercial Analyst, Management Accountant or similar finance role. Strong communication skills, with the ability to build partnerships and explain financial information clearly and practically. Strong analytical and financial modelling capability. Experience working with large datasets and turning information into meaningful insights. Comfortable providing recommendations and decision support to operational stakeholders. Experience working with P&Ls, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting. Experience with D365 and Power BI would be advantageous. You'll enjoy this role if you're curious about how businesses operate, enjoy understanding the story behind the numbers, and like helping others make informed decisions through practical financial insights. Why Join Us? This is a rare opportunity to step into a busy, established role where you can make an immediate contribution. If you're commercially curious, enjoy working collaboratively and want a role that combines financial analysis with genuine business partnering, #J-18808-Ljbffr
