If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you at Barrett’s BMW Canterbury. Responsibilities Perform tyre fitting and balancing on various models of cars. Inspect tyres for wear, damage, and inflation issues, providing recommendations to staff when necessary. Efficiently use tyre fitting equipment and machinery to ensure high‑quality service. Order tyres from our preferred suppliers and ensure you always maintain the required stock levels. Maintain a clean and organised work area. Requirements Previous experience in tyre fitting is highly desirable, but candidates with a mechanical background outside the tyre industry will be considered. Strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for working with vehicles. Ability to lift and carry heavy tyres and equipment. Excellent attention to detail and precision in tyre fitting and balancing. Effective communication skills with team members and customers. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends. Valid driver’s license. This is a full‑time position of 42.5 hours per week. Standard hours of work will be 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
