Assistant Herd Manager

Description We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Herd Manager to join our high-performing dairy team in Ikamatua, Grey Valley, West Coast, starting 20th July 2026. You will work with 650 predominantly Friesian cows, milked using a 54 bail rotary shed with ACRs, Protrack, in-shed feeding, Datamar Collars, and irrigated paddocks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone committed to furthering their dairy career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment. Our operation values teamwork and utilises modern technology across all aspects of farm management. Work Schedule: Roster is 6/1 over calving then 6/2 until January when it will change to 5/2. Remuneration is competitive and will be relevant to experience and abilities.
