Customer Specialist - Chartwell Advice Centre (9-Month Fixed Term)

We're currently looking for a Customer Specialist to join our friendly and high-performing team at our Chartwell Advice Centre on a 9-month fixed-term contract covering parental leave. Te tūranga | The role As a Customer Specialist, you'll be the face of ASB for many of our customers, supporting them with a wide range of banking enquiries and day-to-day banking needs. You’ll take the time to understand what’s important to each customer, help them find the right solutions, and build their confidence using ASB’s digital and self-service banking options. Located in one of Hamilton’s busiest shopping destinations, our Chartwell branch operates seven days a week, offering flexibility and convenience for our customers. As part of this role, you’ll work across a rotating roster including weekends, delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. Ō pūkenga | About you Enjoy building genuine relationships with people from all walks of life Have experience in customer-facing roles such as retail, hospitality, contact centre, reception, tourism, or similar Love finding solutions and making things easier for customers Are confident learning new systems and technology Communicate clearly and professionally Bring energy, resilience, and a positive attitude to your work Enjoy working as part of a collaborative and supportive team Banking experience is not essential.
