Structural Engineer or Draftsperson | Contract Role | Porirua

TEC is looking for a structural engineer or draftsperson to support a large construction project in the Porirua area, starting September 2026. This is an autonomous, contract role with a limited but regular time commitment of around half a day on site every week to two weeks depending on the construction progress on site.The estimated construction timeframe is 90 weeks.This makes the role a good fit for someone balancing other work or after a well-defined role alongside their main workload. If you've got structural engineering or drafting experience, have good communication skills and are interested in a part-time, site-based role in the Porirua area, we'd like to hear from you. Precise scope, contract rate and hours to be discussed based on the right person's experience and availability.Previous construction monitoring experience will be an advantage.
