Department of Conservation (DOC) is offering a full-time fixed-term summer role at Te Arai, Auckland from November 2026 to April 2027 to support the captive rearing program for Tara iti, New Zealand’s rarest endemic breeding bird. Induction and training are provided for a 40-hour week with a 5-day roster including some weekend work. You will be part of a dedicated team, performing fish husbandry, chick care, bird monitoring, predator control, and public education. #J-18808-Ljbffr
