Chinese Chef

Mian Bar Limited is looking for 3 Chinese Chefs to join our team. Ideal candidates must have the following:

1. A minimum of 2 years relevant experience or a level 4 or above relevant qualification.
\n
2. Adaptable to change and able to multitask.
\n
3. Be reliable and responsible.
\n
4. Be fit enough to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
\n
5. Must be able to work on weekends and work overtime
\n
6. Long-term and full commitments are required.
\n
7. Be able to pass a police check.
\n

Key tasks & responsibilities:

\n
1. \n

   In charge of food preparation and duties based on outstanding cooking techniques and deliver the best dishes.

\n
2. \n

   Planning menus and creating recipes based on seasonal ingredients and

   \n

   customer demands accordingly.

\n
3. \n

   Preparing dietary food to meet the customer’s special needs.

\n
4. \n

   Ensuring quality of food are always delivered at the highest standard and present to customers in a timely manner.

\n
5. \n

   Checking food stocks and pacing orders with suppliers.

\n
6. \n

   Training and supervising kitchen junior staffs the cooking procedures by using cooking knowledge and experience if needed.

\n
7. \n

   Produce menus in accordance with the restaurant’s vision and customer’s demands.

\n
8. \n

   Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations to ensure kitchen is tidy and clean.

\n
9. \n

   Managing frozen and fresh foods.

\n
10. \n

    Coordinating with manager for other duties.

\n
