Certificated teacher, General, School Counsellor English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts Devon Intermediate School in New Plymouth is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and flexible school counsellor to join our supportive team starting in Term 4. Catering to Year 7 and 8 adolescents during a pivotal stage in their development, Devon Intermediate is dedicated to fostering a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment where students can build resilience, discover their strengths, and navigate their personal and academic growth. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, self-motivated, and self-managing professional who excels at working collaboratively alongside staff, whānau, and external agencies to support student well-being. You will bring exceptional communication skills, a flexible approach to meet the evolving needs of our school community, and a genuine passion for guiding young people.
