We havehigh academic expectations of our students, while also supporting them to develop as confident,articulate, resilient and globally aware young people. We have an opportunity for a fixed term, full time position (covering maternity leave) for a Design and Visual Communication and Junior Technology teacher to join our well-resourced technology faculty, starting 12 October 2026 (Term 4, 2026) and ending 30 July 2027. In Years 9 and 10, we offer students an engaging and diverse IB MYP Design programme, followed byour own exciting Year 11 programme which is designed to prepare students for NCEA levels 2 and 3,and Scholarship. An ideal candidate will: be collaborative and collegial have experience in teaching NCEA Design and Visual Communication standards have a strong understanding of the creative explorative process and functional resolution in DVC have a sound knowledge in 3D modelling software and CAM outputs Involvement in the extensive co-curricular programme is encouraged.
